The EPCOR team works hard to maintain and improve our electricity and water infrastructure. Click on the area of the city in the list below to see what we're working on and why.
Inglewood Linear Park pathway closure
On August 26, EPCOR responded to a subsidence in Inglewood Linear Park near 114 Avenue and 121 Street. We continue to monitor the site, and a section of pathway in the area remains temporarily closed to ensure public safety as we continue to inspect our wastewater infrastructure and plan for repairs. To help maintain wastewater service during repairs, we will be installing a temporary above-ground bypass system along 114 Avenue east and west of the subsidence. Those in the area can expect construction equipment and activity, continued pathway closures in the park, and possible noise and odours associated with the work, which we will take steps to mitigate as much as possible.
Updates will be provided as work progresses.
High Level Bridge lane closure
Starting September 21, EPCOR will be completing drainage work near the northwest entrance to the High Level Bridge, including installing a new section of pipe, three new catch basins and two new maintenance holes. To safely complete this work, the west entrance to the High Level Bridge from 97 Avenue will be temporarily closed to traffic. Access to the High Level Bridge will be maintained via the east entrance, and once on the bridge, both lanes will again be available to traffic. No closures are planned for the west sidewalk or shared-use path.
Updates will be provided as work progresses. Work is expected to take about two months to complete.
