Glass of the Sask is on tap all summer long. Bring your reusable bottle, fill up at our water stations, and stay hydrated while enjoying local events.

Bring a Glass of the Sask to your community

Are you planning a community event in Edmonton? You can apply to have our Glass of the Sask mobile water tank at your summer gathering.

Fill out the sponsorship application form to invite the water tank to your neighbourhood event.

Availability of the water tank is limited. Be sure to read the information below before applying.

Things to consider before you apply:

The event must be located within the City of Edmonton.
The water tank will be available for one-day events only between May and September, 2026.
The water tank is not available for private, religious or political events.
Applications must be submitted by the event planner(s).
The 20-ft water tank needs enough clear space for a truck to drop it off and pick it up.
Site maps will be required if your application is successful.

Glass of the Sask goes where Edmonton gathers

From smaller community celebrations to iconic mainstay festivals, local events are where Edmontonians come together.

Since the Glass of the Sask campaign launched in 2022, EPCOR has proudly served more than 500,000 litres of water at more than 60 local events and festivals through a combination of water stations and water tanks. Behind every refill, Team EPCOR is there keeping attendees refreshed while promoting safe, reliable tap water and the river that sustains us.

Meet Brett

Brett has spent 22 years in Water Services at EPCOR and supports the set-up behind Glass of the Sask water stations.

A lot happens behind the scenes before a water station is ready to use. Crews set up stations days in advance, running hoses, connecting the station, flushing the system and sampling the water to ensure it meets stringent drinking water quality standards before anyone takes a sip. It's all part of the job, but Brett enjoys connecting people with something they use every day: great-tasting local tap water.

"It gives the public a chance to have a Glass of the Sask and start a discussion about where our water comes from,” says Brett.

Fans stayed refreshed during the summer of 2025 Riverhawks games, with new hydration stations on the RE/MAX field concourse. Visitors enjoyed free, fresh water and vibrant artwork celebrating the beauty of the North Saskatchewan River.
