Embrace Edmonton’s river, our fresh tap water, and the events that make our city unique — from smaller celebrations to iconic local festivals.

Glass of the Sask is on tap all summer long. Bring your reusable bottle, fill up at our water stations, and stay hydrated while enjoying local events.

Bring a Glass of the Sask to your community

Are you planning a community event in Edmonton? You can apply to have our Glass of the Sask mobile water tank at your summer gathering.

Fill out the sponsorship application form to invite the water tank to your neighbourhood event.

Availability of the water tank is limited. Be sure to read the information below before applying.​

Things to consider before you apply:

  • ​The event must be located within the City of Edmonton.
  • The water tank will be available for one-day events only between May and September, 2026.
  • The water tank is not available for private, religious or political events.​
  • Applications must be submitted by the event planner(s).
  • The 20-ft water tank needs enough clear space for a truck to drop it off and pick it up.
  • Site maps will be required if your application is successful.

Glass of the Sask at the Edmonton Riverhawks

Fans stayed refreshed during the summer of 2025 Riverhawks games, with new hydration stations on the RE/MAX field concourse. Visitors enjoyed free, fresh water and vibrant artwork celebrating the beauty of the North Saskatchewan River.
