​​Choose your power service

In Alberta, you have the power to choose how you buy electricity. It's your choice, you can either: 

  1. Sign up with a competitive retailer, like Encor by EPCOR or
  2. Choose to stay on the regulated rate option (RRO)​ for your power service.​​

You have the opportunity to choose an option that best suits your needs. You can choose a competitive plan with a fixed or floating rate, or sign up for the RRO, an electricity rate with no contracts that reflects the current market price, and can change every month.
