About Default Supply

Default Supply is a power service designed for commercial and industrial customers whose usage is greater than 250 MWh/year.

Similar to the Regulated Rate Option (RRO), customers on Default Supply do not sign a contract or have a term agreement. Their energy charges are known as flow-through pricing, which means what they pay is the actual wholesale cost of electricity plus an administration fee.

Like most markets, the price of wholesale electricity changes from month-to-month based on supply and demand. This means some months the wholesale cost of electricity will be higher and other months it will be lower.

Look through the tables below to see the currently forecasted supply prices or give us a call to answer any questions you may have about Default Supply for your business.
