The Flood Prevention Program offers an inspection of your property, going through an evaluation checklist to identify steps that will help you maintain good drainage and minimize the risk of future flooding on your residential property.
Appointments are for homes in the City of Edmonton only.
Program details
The full home inspection includes an inspection of both the interior and exterior of a home and is offered from April to October, weather permitting. Flood prevention advisors will review the potential flood risks of the interior and exterior of the home as well as eligibility for the Backwater Valve Subsidy Program to help offset some of the cost of the installation of a backwater valve.
