As an Encor customer, you get access to the perks regularly – including the opportunity to win everything from Free Energy for a Year, to tickets to exciting events and premieres, to travel gift cards.

We’re always looking for ways to bring value and make life more carefree for our customers, so we’ve introduced an auto-enrollment system for all eligible loyalty activities, contests and promotions. This means you’ll no longer need to fill out an online form to participate—you are automatically set to take part in draws for these exciting prizes and experiences

What does this mean for you?

You’re automatically entered into contests, promotions and exclusive offers with an email address on file, and if you haven’t opted out of the program.
There’s no action needed on your part to enter to win incredible perks.

Free Energy for a Year

Just say Encor for Free Energy! Our popular Free Energy for a Year contest is back with fifteen chances to win! That’s right, fifteen lucky customers will receive twelve months of no energy consumption charges, no fees, and no taxes for one full year!

New this year, entering for a chance to win is easier than ever! To make things easier, we’ve moved to an auto-enrollment system for all eligible loyalty activities, contests, and promotions. This means you’ll no longer need to fill out an online form to participate—you are automatically set to take part in draws for these exciting prizes and experiences as long as we have an email address on file for you, and you have not opted out.

The contest runs from January 20 - December 15, 2025 with monthly draws starting in February and continuing until December 2025.

Encor Movie Experience: Downton Abbey Exclusive

Settle into fall with a cozy morning of cinematic charm, Encor by EPCOR invites you to an exclusive screening of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale at Cineplex Odeon Windermere in Edmonton or CrossIron Mills in Calgary on Saturday, September 13 at 10:30 a.m.

As a thank you for being a valued customer, Encor customers and a guest have a chance to join us for one last visit to Downton – on us. Unwind and indulge in the final chapter of the beloved Crawley family and enjoy watching the aristocratic drama unfold.

To make things easier, we’ve moved to an auto-enrollment system for all eligible loyalty activities, contests and promotions.

This means you’ll no longer need to fill out an online form to participate—you are automatically set to take part in draws for these exciting prizes and experiences as long as we have an email address on file for you, and you have not opted out. If you are concerned, that we don’t have your email address on file, give us a call at 310-4300 and we can add your email to our list.

The contest closes on Tuesday, September 2nd at midnight, and we’ll be drawing for and notifying the winners on Wednesday, September 3rd by 12 p.m.

Wait are you a superfan of the Downton series? We hear you!! If we select a winner from our general draw who can’t come to our event, we’ll then select names from a separate waitlist of customers who really want to go. Simply add your name to our waitlist, and we’ll reach out by September 4th if your name is selected. Space is limited, so we'll select attendees from our waitlist on a first-come-first-served basis, so get your name on the waitlist quickly. Like our general draw winners, selected customers from the waitlist will get a pass for two seats to the movie.
