A car could hit a power line or transformer. A person could strike a line while digging in their yard. A worker operating heavy machinery could come in contact with overhead lines. Each of these scenarios are electricity emergencies. If you find yourself in one of these situations, what you do next could mean the difference between life and death.
A pipe could freeze and burst in your home. The sewer could back up in your basement. A water main could break. Each of these is a water emergency and you should contact EPCOR.
If you encounter a downed power line or other dangerous situation involving electricity, call 911 or our Power Emergencies line immediately and tell them the exact location. Police and Fire will help keep people away from the scene, while we dispatch a crew to turn off the power and ensure the area is safe.
