We've received complaints about suspicious phone calls and emails, and are warning customers to be cautious.

Reports suggest that business owners are receiving calls and emails purporting to be from EPCOR. The caller claims the account holder is in arrears, and payments — perhaps in bitcoin — must be made immediately or power will be disconnected.

This is a scam. Customers should know that EPCOR does not take sudden action on billing arrears.

If you have questions about your account, please call us at 310-4300. To report suspicious activity, please contact the Edmonton Police Service at (780) 423-4567.
