142 Street and Summit Drive

​Traffic Impacts

A single lane along Summit Drive will be closed to use as a laydown area for the pipe segments used in the relining work. Parking restrictions adjacent to the site will be in effect during construction. 

Residents may experience intermittent road closures as materials and equipment are brought to and from site. 

Pedestrian Impacts

The worksite for the construction of the working shaft will encompass a portion of the green space east of 142 Street and will be closed to the public for the duration of the Stage Two construction. EPCOR has worked with the City to temporarily relocate memorial benches located within the worksite.

Access to MacKinnon Ravine from the worksite location will be closed. Pedestrians and cyclists will be detoured west of 142 Street for access to the trail system.
