Encor plans are built around flexibility. Customers can choose fixed or floating rates, bundle electricity and natural gas on one account, and change or cancel their plan at any time, penalty-free.

Encor and Encor by EPCOR are the same brand. You'll often see us referred to simply as Encor. Encor is part of the EPCOR family of companies, which is reflected in the full Encor by EPCOR name.

As part of the EPCOR family of companies, Encor gives Albertans more choice in how they buy their electricity and natural gas, with flexible plan options and support from an experienced Alberta energy provider.

Encor is EPCOR’s competitive energy retailer, offering electricity and natural gas plans to customers across Alberta, including fixed and floating rate options.

EPCOR is Encor’s parent company. While EPCOR provides regulated utility services, Encor by EPCOR is the competitive energy retailer, offering flexible electricity and natural gas plans to customers across Alberta.

Your local utility provider is responsible for delivering energy to your property and maintaining the infrastructure used to provide that service. Choosing Encor changes the energy plan you’re on, not the local utility infrastructure serving your home or business.
