Notice of a public hearing for the Town of Collingwood

The Town of Collingwood and EPCOR have applied to the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) for the change in ownership of Collus PowerStream Corp.

EPCOR and the Town of Collingwood have applied to the OEB for the approval of two share purchase transactions. If approved, EPCOR will be the new owner of Collus PowerStream Corp. The OEB's customer notice is available here.

EPCOR has also requested approval for a 1% reduction in Collus PowerStream Corp.'s 2017 electricity distribution rates for residential customers.

Public hearing

The OEB will hold a combined public hearing to consider the Town of Collingwood and EPCOR's requests.

You have the right to information about these applications and to be involved with the process. Please visit the OEB website to:

  • File a letter with your comments
  • Become an intervenor (must apply by March 5, 2018)
  • Access any document related to this case (enter file numbers EB-2017-0373 and EB-2017-0374)
