Sonoran wastewater district rates

If you live in Anthem, Sun City, Sun City West, Mohave or Waddell and receive wastewater service from EPCOR, your wastewater rates fall under the Sonoran Wastewater District.

Your wastewater bill is based on the cost to collect, treat and safely return water to the environment. Rates are reviewed and approved by the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC).

For most residential customers in the Sonoran Wastewater District, wastewater is billed as a flat monthly charge.

Wastewater charges help fund wastewater collection, treatment, reuse and ongoing system maintenance. These rates are set out in the Sonoran Wastewater District Tariff.

Most residential customers pay a similar total amount each month, with additional charges or credits applied as separate line items.

If your address receives wastewater service from another provider or has non-standard service, charges may differ.

Your bill may also include additional charges or credits approved by the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC), such as power cost adjustments or other surcharges.
