When you think about the water you use to shower and cook dinner, chances are you're thinking about the actual water and not the complex system that delivers water to your faucet.

Water infrastructure is a critically important issue – one that often gets overlooked. Pipelines can crack and fail. Hydrants need to be replaced. Pumps and other mechanical equipment must be maintained and, eventually, replaced.

Just like you need to maintain your car to make it run safely and smoothly, your water system needs checkups and care to deliver water. Reliable infrastructure is also important for water stewardship because broken pipes and equipment can lead to leakage and waste.

No matter where you live, investment in water infrastructure is necessary for a reliable water supply. According to the American Society of Civil Engineers, the long-term infrastructure investment gap across the country totals nearly $260 billion a year. That's why EPCOR has stepped up and is investing millions in the infrastructure that's the lifeline for homes and businesses.

Our teams in operations and engineering are continually monitoring the systems and equipment we use to deliver water to you. As we carry out regular maintenance, we prioritize minimizing service interruptions and maximizing quality. And we take every opportunity to innovate, conserve water and reduce costs whenever possible.

It's all part of our commitment to delivering quality water not just tomorrow, but for generations to come.
