David Stanton

Mr. David Stanton currently serves on the board’s Environment, Health and Safety Committee, and the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.

Mr. Stanton is Chief Executive Officer of Cleanwater1, Inc. (“CW1”), a leading provider of water quality and chemical feed solutions for water and wastewater utilities. He joined CW1 in 2022, bringing over 30 years of experience in the water and environmental sectors.

Previously, Mr. Stanton led the integration of Clean Earth, Inc., a specialty waste processing and recycling company formed through two major acquisitions, with revenues exceeding $800 million. He also served as CEO of Suez (now Veolia) North America Utility Holdings, Inc., where he drove industry-leading performance through investments in leadership, infrastructure, and digital transformation.

Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles in two startups and contributed to the growth of consolidators Tyco/EarthTech and SouthWest Water.

A champion of innovation in the water sector, Mr. Stanton is a former Chairman of the National Association of Water Companies (NAWC). He currently serves on the advisory board of Burnt Island Ventures, and on the boards of KloudGin and Pictet Asset Management SA.

Mr. Stanton holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
