When it comes to power, we understand not everybody wants to be on a contract. Our regulated
time-of-use billing option is based on the amount of supply available and our levels of demand and on a rate-setting plan approved by the
Ontario Energy Board.
Energy retailers do not work for EPCOR and are not regulated through time-of-use.
EPCOR doesn't do door-to-door sales. So, if an energy retailer comes to your door to discuss signing up for an energy contact, make sure you know who you are dealing with.
- Always make sure you get a business card and examine the sales person's ID badge.
- Don't share any personal information unless you are prepared to sign a contract.
- Carefully read the contract, disclosure statement and price comparator supplied by the sales person.
- Note, the Ontario Energy Board does not go door-to-door.
