Engineer-in-training program

EPCOR offers entry level jobs for recent graduates that are far from your typical starting position. If you are a graduate from an engineering degree program and a registered engineer-in-training with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), you can apply for EPCOR's engineer-in-training program. You'll gain broad and valuable work experience through challenging and strategic rotational assignments. This program is based on the requirements of APEGA.

  Engineer-in-training program recruitment dates

We recruit for these positions throughout the year, but openings are typically posted in the summer and early winter months.

Finance development program

If you graduated with a degree in accounting, finance, or operations management, EPCOR's 3-year finance development program provides some exciting opportunities. You'll rotate through three different areas within the company, spending one year in each area, while paired with a senior-level mentor. We'll also support you in earning a professional designation, such as CPA or CFA.

Don't think of it as entry level jobs for university graduates, but an opportunity to learn about one of the top places to work for recent grads and explore all the different opportunities available at EPCOR.

  Finance development program recruitment dates

We recruit in September with start dates in May (depending on graduation dates and availability).

Our finance development program opportunities are available through our EPCOR job search. You can also set up job alerts, apply for multiple EPCOR job postings and track your progress through the application process.

Co-op program

If you're a student participating in a formal business or engineering co-op program through your post-secondary institution, explore EPCOR's co-op program. You'll get an excellent hands-on experience in your field, along with first-hand exposure to our many areas of business.

  Co-op program recruitment dates

Recruitment occurs in the preceding semester for January, May and September intakes. We provide co-op opportunities throughout the year (typically lasting 4-8 months in duration). Co-op positions are posted directly with the co-op offices at participating post-secondary institutions.
