We get it: you like to have options

We get it, you want flexibility when it comes to paying your bill. Your favourite restaurant lets you eat in, order out, or pick up, so why can’t your utility company give you options, right? We hear you. We love options, too. That’s why we offer four easy ways to pay your bill—pick the one that works best for you.

Just a note, Encor is part of the EPCOR family, and EPCOR manages the billing on behalf of Encor. The links below will take you to EPCOR, but rest assured, you are paying your Encor bill.

1. Pay with your credit card

Make a one-time payment or set up recurring payments with your VISA, MasterCard, VISA Debit or MasterCard Debit. Why not collect points towards your next vacation simply by paying for your energy plan?

*Note about credit card payments: If you choose to pay by credit card, there will be a small fee applied by our third-party vendor, KUBRA. Under the current rate structure approved by the Alberta Utilities Commission, credit card fees would be passed on to all ratepayers, whether they pay by credit card or not. To avoid transferring this fee to all customers, this service fee is only applied to customers who choose the credit card payment service. The service fee is set by, and paid to, our third-party vendor and applied as follows:

  • VISA and MasterCard payments have a service fee of 1.75%.
  • VISA Debit and MasterCard Debit card payments have a service fee of 0.75%.

2. Pay through your bank

Most major banks let you:

  • Pay online or by telephone. Visit your bank's website or mobile app and follow their directions for setting up online payment.
  • Make a payment through a teller or at a bank machine. Have your Encor account number with you for reference.

Your bank can also help you set up automatic withdrawal options to pay your bill.

Juggling multiple monthly bills isn’t always easy. This is a great option to gain control over how and when you pay your monthly bill.

3. Pay by automatic withdrawal

Paying your bill is easy and convenient with automatic withdrawal. Have the amount automatically deducted from your bank account or credit card each month on a regular schedule.  Just set it and forget it—It’s that carefree!

Sign up for automatic withdrawal.
