EPCOR water rebate programs for Clovis

How the programs benefit you

These rebates are offered to our Clovis customers on a first-come, first-served basis and are available until funds run out. If you're a qualifying customer, you'll receive bill credits from EPCOR in the amount of each rebate.

Clothes Washer Re​bate Program


Want to reduce your home water use, save money and receive a rebate?

If you live in a single family home and buy and use a high-efficiency clothes washer, you could receive a rebate: up to $150 off the purchase price of one clothes washer, per account.

How the Clothes Washer Rebate Program works

  • To be eligible, clothes washers must be listed as Tier 2 or 3 on the CEE Clothes Washer Qualifying Product List.
  • We issue rebates on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability of annual funds.
  • Incomplete applications can't be processed.
  • The clothes washer has to be installed at your water service address.
  • We'll issue the rebate as a credit on your EPCOR account. It may take up to 90 days or longer to appear on your bill.

Rainwater Harvesting Rebate Program


Eligibility for the Rainwater Harvesting Rebate Program

  • Applicants may apply for a rebate of materials and labor not exceeding $500 per property.
  • Reimbursement will be made as a credit to your EPCOR account.
  • The Rebate Program is available to single-family residential properties with water meters up to and including 1 inch, and small commercial EPCOR Water customers.
  • Small Commercial is defined as a property with a single meter that is 5/8, 3/4, or 1 inch in size. Commercial properties with more than one meter or meters larger than 1 inch do not qualify. Call (575) 763-5538 for verification.

Important information

  • Rebate applications must be complete and are subject to verification and availability of funds.
  • EPCOR reserves the right to verify and inspect the installed rainwater harvesting system.
  • EPCOR reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion and at any time, to change any or all of the Rebate Program Policy or to cancel the rebate program without prior notice.
  • EPCOR shall not be liable for any damages incurred as a result of the installation or use of a rainwater harvesting system.
  • Allow up to eight weeks for your completed application to be processed and receive an account credit.
  • Original itemized receipt(s) of materials and labor are required to process the rebateapplication. (EPCOR does not accept scanned documents or photo copies)
  • Receipt(s) submitted for materials and labor must be from licensed businesses/contractors and show:
    • itemized work and/or materials
    • date work performed or materials purchased
    • applicable sales tax and total

Landscape Rebate Program


​Get a rebate of $0.40 per square foot when you remove high water-use turf (grass lawn).

Eligibility for the Landscape Rebate Program

  • Residential areas must be between 500 and 2,000 square feet.
  • Non-residential areas must be between 500 and 12,500 square feet.
  • You must be the property owner, or have the property owner's written consent.
  • You must be EPCOR account holders who water their turf with EPCOR water

Important information

  • Turf must be replaced with ground cover such as gravel or desert landscaping.
  • Bare ground isn't permitted.
  • If plants are installed, they must be listed as "Low" or "Low+" water use. Check for qualifying plants in The Complete How To Guide to Xeriscape or contact your local EPCOR office.
  • If your application is approved, you must keep low water-use landscaping for as long as you continue to own or live at that address, whichever is longer.
  • We issue rebates on a first-come, first-served basis based on limited funds.

Toilet Rebate

If you replaced your high water-use toilet with an ultra-low-flow model, you could receive a rebate: up to $150 off the purchase price of each toilet, up to a maximum of three toilets. We recommend having a qualified plumber perform the installation, and that sewer line(s) be cleaned at the time of installation if they haven't been cleaned within the last 12 months.

Your new toilet purchase price should include:

  • Toilet.
  • Wax ring.
  • Toilet seat.
  • Mounting hardware.
  • Assistance by a licensed plumber.

To be eligible:

  • Your old toilet must use more than 1.6 gallons per flush and be made before 1995.
  • Your new ultra-low-flow model must use 1.6 gallons or less per flush.
  • Your home must be built before 1995.

We'll issue the rebate as a credit on your EPCOR account. It may take up to 90 days or longer to appear on your bill.

Non-Residential Customers

We're offering the Toilet Rebate Program for non-residential Clovis customers to reduce water use.

Customers who replace a high water-use toilet with an ultra-low-flow model could receive a rebate of up to $90 off the purchase price of each toilet replaced.

To be eligible:

  • Your old toilet must use more than 1.6 gallons per flush and be made before 1995.
  • Your new toilet must be new and use 1.6 gallons or less per flush.

If you're installing more than four toilets, please submit the application before you purchase the toilets to see if you're eligible. Please use separate applications for each EPCOR account.
