Installation and activation

Installation

We install the natural gas service line and meter in coordination with the construction timeline.

Service activation

Once the site is ready, EPCOR completes final checks and activates natural gas service.

Additional builder guidelines

We work with builders to finalize meter placement. General considerations include:

Accessible from the exterior
Clear of windows, vents, and ignition sources
Not located in high‑traffic or obstructed areas
Protected from grade changes and future landscaping
Planned before siding or brick installation

We provide site‑specific requirements and diagrams once a service request is submitted.
