Robert (Bob) Foster

Mr. Robert (Bob) Foster currently serves on the Environment, Health and Safety Committee, and on the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee as a member of EPCOR’s Board of Directors.

He has a strong record of municipal and executive leadership, including as the mayor of Long Beach, California from 2006 to 2014. Prior to his entry into politics, he was president of Southern California Edison where he held key executive positions over the course of two decades, including roles within its parent company Edison International.

Mr. Foster also has an extensive background as an executive in the utility sector and has played a lead role in shaping energy policy in the State of California. He is the former chair of the California Independent System Operator and has held senior positions with the California Energy Commission and the State Senate Committee on Energy and Public Utilities.

Mr. Foster holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and an Honourary Doctorate from San Jose State University. He currently serves as a director for WattEV Inc.
