Setting kids up for success

Our charitable donation program engages with local charities that set socially-vulnerable young people up for success along their educational journey. In addition to providing funding, we support these organizations through our employee volunteer program.

Charity partners

Boys and Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters

Boys and Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area (BGCBigs) provides safe places for kids to be after school and during school holidays through nine neighbourhood clubs and more than 20 additional group programs. The organization also offers volunteer driven mentoring programs in a variety of ways. Our funding supports the McCauley Neighborhoods Club programming. Our employees volunteer with BGCBigs in a variety of capacities, including individual in-school and community mentorship, hosting special activities and helping out at the BGCBigs annual holiday party and spring BBQ.

Edmonton Public Schools Foundation

Edmonton Public Schools Foundation raises funds to support full-day Kindergarten in socially-vulnerable schools. Research shows children develop the foundation for strong communication skills, literacy, social competence, numeracy, adaptability and physical health as early as age three. Our funding supports full-day Kindergarten at Mee-Yah-Noh school, helping little ones begin their educational journey on the right path. Our employees volunteer at Mee-Yah-Noh school during Read-In Week, host special BBQs, and help out in the classroom.

We are also proud to partner with: Careers the Next Generation, YMCA of Regina, University of Alberta, Multicultural Family Resource Society, Military Family Resource Centre, Edmonton Symphony Orchestra - YONA-Sistema.
