Health and dental benefits

Our flexible benefits package allows each employee to choose the plan and coverage that is right for their needs and the needs of their families. The benefits package also includes company-paid Long and Short Term Disability premiums.

Vacation and time off

Each employee starts with a minimum of three weeks' vacation in the first year, with some employees eligible for more depending on their position and years of experience.

Personal leave days

All permanent non-union and some union employees get personal leave days to encourage a healthy work/life balance. They also allow employees to attend to personal priorities and appointments.

Scheduled days off 

Full-time managers and eligible out-of-scope employees receive one scheduled Friday off per month to promote a healthy work/life balance.

Wellness account

We encourage our employees to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Permanent employees will be reimbursed for health and fitness related expenses through the Wellness (Personal Spending) Account.

Incentive program

Most employees (non-union and union groups) are eligible for the annual Short Term Incentive (STI) program, which is based on Corporate, Business Unit, and Individual Performance results.

EPCOR Savings Plan

Permanent non-union employees can use this matching savings plan to contribute up to 25% of their annual salary. EPCOR matches contributions up to 5%.

This voluntary and confidential service is available to all permanent employees and their dependents, providing help with issues such as:

We provide lump sum premiums for our water and wastewater operators who achieve increasing levels of certifications.
