EPCOR today announced annual water quality reports (WQRs) for all water service territories in Arizona are now available. The comprehensive reports include a summary of testing data for approximately 100 regulated substances and contaminants, which demonstrate for customers and government regulatory agencies that the water EPCOR provides meets the Environmental Protection Agency’s established drinking water standards.
EPCOR’s mission of delivering safe, clean water requires constant attention to testing and quality control at every stage in the water delivery process. Testing at various stages of the water delivery process is closely managed and planned. The reports include information about the testing conducted throughout the year as well as water sources, information about government regulations, consumer tips and more.
“As a water service provider, we’re committed to ensuring the quality and safety of that water,” said EPCOR USA’s Director of Environmental Compliance, John Calkins. “We take our responsibility seriously and hope our reports help communities understand their water better and what we’re doing to protect it.”
In addition to daily water quality checks and monitoring, EPCOR also maintains and improves miles of pipelines, water mains, wells and hydrants that make up each water system.
Annual WQRs are available by district. Print copies can be requested by emailing mywater@epcor.com.
