Making sure you have safe, clean and reliable service is our daily priority. We’ve made a lot of progress in the past three years, but there is still work to be done. One of those critical projects is the new Copper Basin Water Reclamation Facility.
Your wastewater service is currently provided by the Section 11 facility. This facility is outdated and has been out of compliance with air quality and environmental impact requirements for many years.
It’s our commitment to provide you with a brand new, state-of-the-art facility that delivers safe, clean and reliable wastewater service.

The Copper Basin Water Reclamation Facility must be built and in operation by December 2023, according to a Consent Order from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. To meet that deadline, construction needs to begin by mid-2022.
