PHOENIX— For the second year running, EPCOR USA Inc. (EPCOR) has been recognized by the Healthy Arizona Worksites Program with a Gold Level Award.
The Healthy Arizona Worksites Program (HAWP) invests in healthier communities by recognizing employers who have achieved certain milestones to prioritize health and wellness for employees and their families. Organizations recognized at the Gold Level – the highest possible in the HAWP – have demonstrated a strong commitment to integrating worksite health into overall business policies and benefits.
EPCOR was first recognized as a Healthy Arizona Worksite at the Gold Level in 2019. In 2020, specific health initiatives include organizing a companywide Wellness Committee and completing a comprehensive Worksite Health Score Card. The company has also developed a Worksite Health Improvement Plan with employee benefits geared toward nutrition, physical activity and managing stress. EPCOR's proven culture of safety also played a role in securing the Gold Level Award.
