CLOVIS—March 22, 2021—EPCOR USA Inc. (EPCOR) is kicking off April Water Awareness Month with a reminder to Clovis water and wastewater customers about programs the company offers to help customers conserve water – and save money on their bills.

Over the past 10+ years, thousands of customers have participated in EPCOR's water conservation initiatives. These efforts have contributed to a trend showing community water usage generally leveling off even as Clovis' population has grown. This is good news for Clovis and for the Ogallala Aquifer that is the only source of the Clovis water supply.

Customers can earn rebate credits on their monthly bills when they install qualifying conservation equipment including low-flow toilets, washing machines and rainwater harvesting systems, and also when they reduce the square footage of water-thirsty lawns in their landscaping.

EPCOR also offers free water conservation kits packed with tools and information customers can use to do a conservation self-audit inside or outside the home.

Mark Huerta, Operations Supervisor, said, "As a provider of vital water services in a desert region, EPCOR puts a very high priority on environmental sustainability and water conservation. We're so appreciative of Clovis residents' efforts to work with us to conserve the precious water we all use every day."

Customers can learn more about EPCOR's conservation programs by calling 1 (800) 383-0834, emailing conservation@epcor.com.

EPCOR is among the largest private utilities in the Southwest and the largest in Arizona, providing water, wastewater and natural gas service to approximately 780,000 people across 42 communities and 18 counties in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. With corporate offices in Phoenix, EPCOR employs approximately 425 people.
