Your power solution

Time-of-use (TOU) electricity prices vary based on:

  • Time of day
  • Day of week (weekdays versus weekend)
  • Season (winter or summer)

Prices for electricity rise and fall over the course of the day and tend to drop overnight and on weekends based on the amount of supply available and our levels of demand. TOU more accurately reflects the cost to produce electricity at different times. TOU, together with your advanced meter, help you manage your electricity use and make sustainable choices.

TOU periods and prices are set by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB). The current periods and prices can be found on the OEB's website. TOU prices are subject to change May 1 and November 1 of each year.
