​At EPCOR, our mission is providing our customers with safe, reliable water and wastewater services.

Accurate water meters are an important part of the infrastructure needed to deliver quality services to customers. To improve long-term system reliability, we've begun replacing old and, in some cases, malfunctioning water meters in our Parker water service area.

Timeline

The project began in late 2020, and we expect it to be finished by the end of 2021.    

Impacts for customers

The meter replacement project will not impact your water delivery or quality in any way. Our field crews follow strict safety protocols related to COVID-19, and we ask customers to take precautionary measures by maintaining a safe, 10-foot distance from crews who may be at your address to replace a water meter.

Installing new meters may cause some customers' bills to go up slightly, because old water meters tend to slow down as they age and show inaccurately low water usage. We know that every dollar counts, and our Customer Care team is here to work with customers to make sure their bills are accurate and fair.
