At EPCOR, we are committed to providing a safe, reliable water supply to customers and to expanding our water system to support growing service areas in our communities.
In early summer 2022, we’re beginning a project to install approximately three miles of new water main pipeline on Olive Avenue between Dysart Road and Reems Road in El Mirage, Arizona.
This project will help us expand our service to a fast-growing section of the northwest Valley.
Construction is expected to begin early summer 2022 and wrap up near the end of the year.
This project is occurring along a relatively low-traffic portion of Olive Avenue. There will be minimal or no impacts to businesses and we do not expect any service outages for water customers.
The streets where we’ll be working will be clearly signed. We’re focused on finishing the project quickly and safely to minimize inconvenience to drivers.
As part of the project, EPCOR will also be installing 15 fire hydrants for community protection, and we’ll restore all pavement, sidewalks, hardscaping and landscaping as required.
