One of the transformers at our Namao Substation is nearing the end of its useful life. We are proposing to replace the transformer so we can continue to deliver reliable electricity to Edmontonians in this area.
Review the project notice for full project details.
We intend to submit the required application for this project to the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) in late January 2020.
Please note: These timelines are estimates and may change based on weather, procurement of materials, and construction conditions.
Alberta's electric utilities are regulated by the AUC. The AUC is an independent quasi-judicial agency that ensures that the delivery of Alberta's utility service takes place in a manner that is fair, responsible and in the public's interest.
