EPCOR in your community: Bringing Well 24.2 into the Bullhead City Water System

At EPCOR, we’re committed to providing our customers with safe, clean and reliable water now and into the future. That means maintaining and investing in infrastructure, like the wells that deliver water to EPCOR treatment plants and to the network of pipes that bring it to your homes and businesses.

In October 2019, EPCOR began work on an important well project to serve your community.

Meeting water demand and long-term reliability

Well 24.2 is located near Oatman Road and Montana Wash Way and will serve the Fox Creek and Laredo Village developments: a high-growth area of the city with increasing water needs. As growth continues in this area, this well and other infrastructure will provide additional water capacity to meet demand and ensure long-term system reliability.

The project will also help ensure that peak water demands are met without disruption.

Project work

Over the next few months, the well will be equipped with a new pump, pipes, electrical equipment and instrumentation. Other site improvements, including security, will also be constructed and a new pipeline will be installed to connect Well 24.2 to an existing storage tank.

Project timeline

We are focused on completing this project as safely, quickly and with as little disruption as possible. The new well and accompanying infrastructure is expected to be fully complete and in service by spring 2020.
