​Impacts at 101 Avenue west of 144 Street

Worksite #4 and Worksite #5 will be reduced to one worksite on 101 Avenue, 50 metres west of 144 Street, which will decrease impacts from traffic and construction for residents. At this work location, a manhole will be constructed to provide access for future maintenance of the new tunnel.

During this work, you'll encounter:

• Closure of 101 Avenue from 144 Street to 50 metres west of the intersection
  
• Temporary no parking on both sides of 101 Avenue adjacent to the work area
  

• Regular construction activities from Monday to Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 
  

• Heavy traffic along the haul route; tandem trucks and equipment will be coming down the haul route 5-7 times a day
  

Haul route

The haul route for this location is as follows:

• Trucks may enter and exit the worksite on 142 Street.
• Trucks may enter and exit the worksite on 145 Street and onto Stony Plain Road from 144 Street.
• Trucks may use the southbound curb lane on 142 Street and 101 Avenue to back into the site and get out.
