The Flood Prevention Home Check-Up Program offers 3 types of complimentary inspections that can take anywhere from 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the choice you make. Using an evaluation check list, a drainage specialist will inspect your property to identify steps that will help you maintain good drainage and minimize the risk of future flooding on your residential property.
Our Backwater Valve Program is an assistance program to help offset some of the cost of the installation of a backwater valve.
The exterior check-up program includes an inspection of the exterior of a home.
The full home check-up program includes an inspection of both the interior and exterior of a home.

Our Backwater Valve Program is an assistance program to help offset some of the cost of the installation of a backwater valve. A single subsidy amount up to $800 may be provided for either an interior or exterior installation of a backwater valve.
The program requires an inspection prior to approval. The inspection takes 1 hour to complete and will help educate homeowners about other areas of potential flood risk in their basement.

Customers will receive a report with recommendations on how to improve the flood protection of their home.
