Each of these scenarios are electricity emergencies. If you find yourself in one of these situations, what you do next could mean the difference between life and death. Understand how to safely work around electricity.

 

 

Report an emergency. Call us 24/7.

If you encounter a downed power line or other dangerous situation involving electricity, call 911 or our Power Emergencies line immediately and tell them the exact location. Police and Fire will help keep people away from the scene, while we dispatch a crew to turn off the power and ensure the area is safe.
