The New Arizona Prize's Water Innovation Challenge

June 08, 2016

Winning Idea From Public/Private Collaboration to Receive $250,000 Grant

When it comes to water, Arizona has decades of history in looking ahead to prepare for the future. And the New Arizona Prize is seeking the next big idea.

The New Arizona Prize: Water Innovation Challenge will award $250,000 to a collaborative team in an Arizona community that develops the most innovative and inventive market-based, technological or entrepreneurial solution to advance the sustainability of its water future. The winning team could also receive an extra $50,000 in technical assistance from the WaterNow Alliance to support and accelerate their idea.

Teams must include one public partner and one private partner, and the idea should benefit an entire community, county, tribe or region with the potential to be replicated in other Arizona communities. EPCOR is Arizona's largest, private water provider and we're interested in partnering with you to create the next big idea that can benefit Arizona's water resources.
