Project Details
We're making upgrades to our water mains in the 13700 & 13800 block of Blackburn Avenue and the 13600 & 13700 block of Coldicutt Avenue. This project is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure your water service is reliable and safe. The water main upgrade work is expected to be completed by December 14, 2012. We regret any inconvenience to our customers during this time.
Timeline
Construction will take place between 7:30am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday from November 5, 2012, until December 14, 2012, unless we experience unforeseen delays. Some occasional work beyond these hours may be required; however, we will make every effort to complete daily tasks by 5:30pm each day.
What to expect during construction
Parking
There will be some traffic disruptions while construction vehicles access the site. Please refrain from parking in the 13700 -13800 block of Blackburn Avenue and in the 13600 -13700 block of Coldicutt Avenue.
Water Disruptions
While your water remains safe for use during the construction period, it may appear cloudy with varied fluctuation in water pressure. You may want to store enough water for daily consumption as water will be off intermittently. During this period, we will make every effort to provide door to door notification before any disruption of service occurs, unless we have to perform an emergency shut down.
Safety Concerns
Construction equipment and materials may be stored in the area during this time. Please remind all members of your household to use caution in the area due to the presence of construction vehicles.
