 French Creek Treatment Facility
|
The utility was previously owned by Breakwater Utilities Ltd. The BC Water Comptroller’s office approved EPCOR’s purchase in February 2006. EPCOR assumed ownership of the utility with a commitment to undertake a number of capital projects to improve the quality of the treated water.
The Water Supply
The water supply comes from both French Creek and 17 groundwater wells. The system is served by 6 reservoirs, a booster station and a distribution network.
Citizens will continue to receive their bills quarterly and there will be no rate changes in 2007. Please visit our water efficiency section for more tips on how to reduce your water use and save money.
