Chestermere

EPCOR has managed the water distribution and wastewater collection systems for the lakeside town of Chestermere since 2003. In October 2007, a new agreement extended EPCOR’s relationship with Chestermere for 20 years, and will lead to extensive expansion of the town’s water and wastewater system.

EPCOR will finance capital upgrades, which the town will pay back over a 20-year amortization period.

Located near Calgary, with a population of 12,000, the Town has grown at an average rate of 25% over five years.
