The future looks bright. Opportunities to make a difference. These aren’t just statements at EPCOR. We understand that what motivates, attracts, and engages competent and confident employees are growth and development opportunities, interesting and challenging work, and the chance to be part of something that is considered value-added.
The following recruitment programs that we offer are geared towards students or recent graduates who are interested in gaining or building on related and valuable experience in their fields of study. One of our recruitment programs might appeal to you if you are looking for a position to demonstrate your commitment to excellence, as well as your ability to take ownership of your work, demonstrate initiative, and continue to build on your existing knowledge and skills.
Student Programs
Co-operative Education Programs
- EPCOR is a proud supporter of several post-secondary co-operative programs. Believing that we all benefit by partnering education with business, we typically offer work experience placements in Engineering and Business, as well as a variety of technical work practicum and apprenticeship opportunities.
Postings for co-operative and work experience opportunities are advertised at the applicable co-operative or career placement offices of post-secondary institutions throughout the academic year.
Development Programs
EIT Rotational Program
- The EIT Rotational Program is focused on providing new grads (i.e. Engineers in Training) with meaningful and challenging work experiences in various aspects of EPCOR Power Development. The goal is to foster the development of both technical and leadership skills as graduates pursue a Professional Engineering designation.
- This formalized program will provide engineering graduates with up to four years of planned work experiences with EPCOR Power Development, leading up to the attainment of their Professional Engineering designation with APEGGA. Rotations will provide opportunities for graduates to develop in their technical competence, project management and operational leadership.
- We look for recent engineering graduates from a variety of disciplines, preferably with co-op experience. The criterion for selection focuses on academic excellence, technical expertise, related work experience, and strong communication and leadership skills.
