EPCOR Power L.P. (the Partnership) is a publicly-traded limited partnership (TSX: EP.UN) organized under the laws of the province of Ontario that owns and operates electrical generation facilities in Canada and the United States.
The general partner, EPCOR Power Services Ltd., is responsible for transacting business on behalf of the Partnership. The Partnership's mission is to be Canada's premier income fund, providing stable cash distribution to unitholders.

EPCOR Power L.P.'s Acquisition of Primary Energy Ventures
On November 1, 2006, EPCOR Power L.P. announced the completion of its acquisition of Primary Energy Ventures, which was previously announced on August 14, 2006.
EPCOR's aquires TransCanada's interest in TransCanada Power L.P.
On May 17, 2005, EPCOR Utilities Inc. (EPCOR) and TransCanada Corporation (TSX, NYSE: TRP) (TransCanada) announced an agreement whereby EPCOR would acquire TransCanada's interest in TransCanada Power, L.P. (TSX: TPL.UN) for $529 million, subject to normal closing adjustments.
The transaction was effective September 1, 2005, at which point the Partnership's name changed to EPCOR Power L.P. and its ticker symbol became EP.UN.
