Did you know?

The average single family Edmonton household has about 2.6 people, consumes 19 cubic metres of water per month and pays around $22 per month for water usage (not including fees and sewage charges).
Most water-efficient dishwashers use 39% percent less energy to heat the water and 39% percent less water than standard models.
If certain portions of your lawn seem overgrown or especially green, you may have a leak.

Some random tips:

When cleaning fruits and vegetables, don't run the tap continuously. Instead, wash them in a partially filled sink, then rinse them quickly under the tap.
Choose plants, shrubs, and trees that, when fully mature, will require little additional irrigation and will fit in with the landscape so that minimal pruning is required.
Toilet fixtures are the largest single water using fixture in the home, and in many commercial/industrial facilities. New 6 litre per flush toilet fixtures offer very large savings over existing 20 litre per flush toilet fixtures.
