Whether working with educators, not-for-profit organizations, or local associations, each of our partnerships fosters sustainable learning within the communities where we live and operate.
- Science Alberta Foundation - Available to teachers, librarians and community groups throughout Alberta, Science in a Crate is a unique and affordable way to deliver science education.
- Puffin Productions - Peter Puffin, is an award-winning musician and educator who brings a lighthearted message about taking responsibility for the environment.
- RiverWatch - Alberta RiverWatch helps science classes to explore a 10 km section of their local river during a raft float trip. Along the way, students make shoreline stops to conduct water chemistry and biology tests.
- Alberta Agriculture - WaterQuest is an adventure in science education blending online learning with a grass roots foundation.
- Inside Education - EPCOR is pleased to partner with Inside Education in the development and distribution of the "Electricity Poster Education Kit" - a valuable science and environment-education resource to youth in our community.
- Every Drop Counts - The EPCOR-sponsored Every Drop Counts project helps students explore, in a fun and innovative way, how much we rely on water and how we must make changes in our daily routines to preserve this precious resource.
- City of Edmonton Drainage Services - Drainage Services offers two programs for elementary school teachers to help teach students about the storm water and waste water drainage systems.
- B.C. Museum of Mining - Located at Britannia Beach, British Columbia, the B.C. Museum of Mining offers exciting and educational guided tours of a historic copper mine site.
- Britannia Mine Water Treatment Plant Discovery Centre - Come explore EPCOR’s new Discovery Centre, where you will get ‘hands-on’ with real science to learn how the Britannia Mine Water Treatment Plant is cleaning up the environment.
